to be completely honest, i would really be too scared to get involved. the most i would probably do is dial an emergency number and report what's going on. it's possible that if i physically intervene, i might get myself hurt. there is this one guy who works at the shop right in front of ours. just recently, his brother-in-law tried to break up a fight between two drunks and he ended up being critically injured. i think he was stabbed or cut up with a knife on the head, and it was pretty bad. i'm not even sure if the brother-in-law survived it.
