The charisma factor has played a big part in the presidential campaign up to now. Obama has had lots of great media coverage to show he is a great orator and charismatic personality. However, since Sarah Palin signed on to run as McCain's vp, I think the charisma factor for the McCain ticket has gone up a few notches from before. What do you think?

Well, I disagree that Obama has charism. I agree that Sarah Palin has plenty.

Obama has a big toothy smile and even Hillary says he can make a good speech. But I have to agree that his mannerisms, hems and haws when having to give unprompted answers and condescending arrogance aren't charismatic in the least. Sarah Palin has charisma and class to bring to the McCain ticket.

Whatever charisma points that the McCain/Palin ticket have gained, they will quickly be diminished by the scandals that are going on around Palin. Half of the people won't like that her teenage daughter is pregnant, whether she is getting married to the father or not. The other half will be looking closely at her lawsuit going on about what has gone on in office in Alaska, trying to have her brother in-law fired because her and her husband weren't getting along (yes he was abusive, but that has nothing to do with the brother-in-law) and when the official she tried to have fire him didn't do it, she fired him. Yes, I feel they will lose cool points over this, because they have a lot of scandal going on before even getting into office.
Now clrumfelt don't think for one second that these new developments have changed my opinion. I do know your position and who you said you would vote for. But if you haven't noticed yet, I am and always have been for the Obama/Biden ticket. I just used these recent developments to demonstrate why they would end up losing notches. At best, they will break even.
