Hmmmm!!! I do sometimes.
when I go to the mall and I saw something nice stuff like decorative materials, bags, wallet etc. even if I don't need it and it is not in my budget, I would buy it. The sad fact is I am not using them. I just keep them and eventually I forgot that I already have that stuff. Well, simply collecting things with the thought that I might not be able to buy it the next time I come by.
How about you? did you experience the same? Oh!!! I have a friend also who is an impulsive buyer. She would even borrow money just to buy the things she would want to have. That is ridiculous.
Just curious to hear your story.

I was an impulsive buyer before! That happened during Sales when lots of stuffs were at bargain prices. Naturally, with the significant mark down on prices, I was always very excited to buy as I could afford. But experiences taught me a good lesson. Like you said, I noticed that those things I bought impulsively were simply accumulating in my home unused and when I computed the money I spent for them, I realized I wasted so much already. Now, before buying anything that attracts my eyes, I would think twice. Do I really need this? If the answer is No, then I will drop the item and go to the next item included in my list.

wow!! we are pretty much the same. Go ...go.. with bargain sales. Sometimes 50% 60% and more. I am always a victim of that. But I did not compute how much I wasted. Well I do admire your initiative of computing how much you lost? that's a great idea to make us realize how much we have wasted. At present, yes, I have to think first before I buy the item if I can use that or not. That is why I spent longer time deciding when I am in the store. 2-3 hours are not enough for me when I go shopping.

I also do spend a lot time in the shop. One day is not enough for me. I am very meticulous. That's why I don't want my husband by my side... he will surely get bored waiting. We always go separate ways when shopping and just meet at a particular time to eat.

Hi Bebs,
I am like that before, I will even use my credit card when I want something but good thing is when I know I am not paying it off first, i will also decide not to go to the mall, so no temptation..LOL!
This time, since I am not working, i am not interested to buy blouses and jeans which are my favorite collections because I know I have nowhere to use it everyday..LOL!
I just love to collect inexpensive perfume this time..when I like it, I will grab right away! LOL!

Ohh...same situation here..LOL! I will feel glad when friends will drop here and bring me outside or when hubby will have extra money for shopping! LOL!
It is really hard, unlike in our place, everywhere we go, we can just make "para" to all public transpo! LOL!

We are the same. My weakness are blouses and skirts in fashion. Now that I have no work yet, I just shun myself from sales unless I really need it. the good thing is I have no access to go to malls because I can't drive yet and my hubby is not fond of going there either
. with this, I can save my bucks.1 person likes this

I would say that I'm only a part time impulsive buyer.
I don't borrow to buy but If there is money in my pocket it will be spent.

hahaha!! better go out without something on your pocket in order to save. Well, there are people I know that they are trying to borrow money in order to buy the things they wanted to have. It might be sold if they will wait another time to buy it. Oh!!! very bad habit. But if you have money to buy? go ahead as long as you are not borrowing from others just to buy what you want.

No, I'm not an impulsive buyer at all, you would hate going shopping with me..lol. I always end up putting everything back, and say I'll get it later, I don't really need it right now...
. My moms always getting onto me for doing that, she'll say just get it, quit being stingy..haha.

When it comes to buying stuff, I'll say I am a conservative buyer. I make it sure that the price of the thing I like is affordable and dependable. That's why my husband complains about me roaming around the mall because I am looking for good deals.

I am not an impulsive buyer. I dont buy anything I dont need. Why waste your money on something you dont need. I have better things to do with my money. I have bills to pay and the way gas is now.
I have a friend that buys things and just puts them away. Than over the years she finds them and they still have the price tag on them.

yes, there are many people who are like your friend. I tis just a weakness for others to just buy anything they see and really like to have even if they don;t need it. That habit is really hard to overcome unless you will avoid going to malls and other sales area. @baileycows (3665)

I used to but then I started learning how to save and I became an obsessive saver. I try to save every little bit that I can. I mean I still buy stuff but I make sure I have a certain amount in my savings and no less, but I am on a role and saving like crazy I dont want to mess up with impulsive buying because I feel more secure when I have money saved.

I think I am an impulse buyer, to an extent...I'm not too impulsive if whatever I'm looking at is very expensive though...I guess it all just depends on what it is that I'm looking at...
