Google chrome - Will google CHROME have extensions/addons/themes like in firefox?

Chrome is the much publicised browser from google. I'm presently using Firefox and love the ability to add extensions and add-ons that help me personalise the surfing experience and improve my internet! Will Chrome too have extensions/addons and themes available anytime in the future?
