how smart is your right foot?

Try this and I hope you get a laugh like I did. Sit in a chair, cross your legs and start turning you foot in a clockwise circle then with your right hand draw the figure 6 in the air. Now is you foot swinging in the other direction. Isn't that a bit strange, Anyone care to explain this? I hope so, I want to know why.
