This morning there were three beautiful foxes out in our field, the hound went crazy and we had to go shoot at them, they are so pretty and so much trouble. They are death to house cats and make a real mess, but I love to watch them. When we shoot at them they stay away for a while and then they will be back. We have apples on the ground, plums and blackberries for them to eat so it's just not fair to run them off. We never had these visitors, until they started building houses all around us, so now they have become our problem. They are protected here in our state until they go after household pets. We will not hurt them we just need them to move on. This is progress, it makes me cry. What do you think?

Hi savypat! It's a sad story. I've never seen a wild fox before. But I know how beautiful they would be. As a necessary step of modernization, the city is growing bigger and bigger. I guess we will be seeing wild animals more frequently. There will be problems, like they mess around in your field. But if you really want to make a difference, how about you try to help them a litle? Keep all precious things inside the house. Put some leftover in the field if that's not a problem. I guess if they are not so hungry they would not risk to come in our area. Anyway, it's only my idea, and I don't really know whether it will work or not. But I guess as long as you are trying to help, these beautiful creatures will understand! Happy myloting!

This world is home to a lot of creatures, great and small. IT is a pity that progress for humans means hardship for animals and plants. Will progress soon lead to hardship for those that seek progress? The quality of air and water is degrading.
