News has it that a Landmark Experiment to unlock the secrets of Big Bang may prove to make it's launch day (10 Sep.2008), the Last day.
It has cost £4.4 billion and is designed to unlock the secrets of the Big Bang. But rather than providing vital information about the beginning of life, it can cause the world to come to an end, says scientist.
The deal is that this Experiment is a costly one, under which about 2,50,500 scientists are working. They have created a machine that smashes sub-atomic particles at the speed of light, by which they will come to know the secrets of Big Bang. But it is being feared that this experiment can cause the formation of a Black Hole that can swallow the planet. It is one of the biggest event of history, and it can cause death of the Universe.
So, 10 September 2008 is the Experiment date, when either we will learn the secrets of Universe, or we will all die...The Ultimate end of Human Race.
It is said that the Large Hadron Collider (The Machine that will do the job), can cause a shower of loads of mini black holes that will expand and swallow the Earth.
So there are just 48 hours from now... What will you do in these 48 hours? What will you do? What will be your last tasks that you want to do?
I personally want the PSP, but now it seems impossible, and again... I will miss my myLot payment. I will hug my family members before that fateful day which is about to arrive in 48 hours from now. What will you do?

there is a seperate article in our local news too. and the credit of breaking this news on mylot goes to someone else. We all expressed our shock, .. by now, quite a few times, and there is nothing more to be shocked.
My opinion is.. the two scientists are .. may be correct in their theory, but, .. there would be nothing wrong with the experiment.
There would not be anymore big bangs. and our earth would be the safest place.
Goodluck and more and more happy mylotting. I will be online on that day.

thankyou for selecting this response as the best. And, thank GOD, the supreme, for not really making this earth disintegrate.
they say, the experiment was a success. But, there is not a physical evidence. lols.

hey, I didn't know anything about this stuff, thank you for posting this. Well, My opinion is, is that it will not happen. Do you think US will allow that kind of experiments, if it is will cost so many lives throughout the world or cause the planet earth to be destroy? A lots of country will react regarding this matter. And I don't believe that this kind of matter will happen. Well, gud luck, happy mylotting! hehe, ^_^

Well this is seriously a mystery why any country or the UNO is not reacting at this news. Maybe it is fixed but it is true that we have advanced so much in science that there is no coming back.
But maybe some mysteries should be left unsolved, for playing with nature is not at all entertaining, but endangering.

I can't possibly take anything that the Daily Mail reports on seriously. They're the biggest tabloid scare-mongers out there at the moment, and will say absolutely anything to sell their papers.
I doubt if this machine will do much of anything, and if there was really thought to be a great risk, it wouldn't be used. The point of the machine is to aid the development of fusion power, which is obviously a good thing. Any black holes that were formed (by the way, how many are already in space, and aren't 'expanding and swallowing the earth'?) would quickly disappear, and are unlikely to do any lasting damage.

But there is something really risky, as all our News Channel are showing this particular news for the last three days. Even if I switch on the Television now, there might be at least one channel showing this news.
I know that the channels usually show off these kind of creepy content but this time it is serious and I have never heard anything making rounds so fast. Even though there are a lot of black holes in Universe, they don't have as much matter to swallow and expand. But talking of Earth, it has all, from the smallest particles to the biggest out there. So it is calculated that the Black hole will just expand within seconds of forming.
Mystery is Uncovered September 10th.

I have heard of this forewarning about a week ago. It seems that there is a scare going on about this. The thing that gets me about these experiments is the millions or billions used to finance these theoretic mechanisms. It is something no one can be sure of the outcome.
And then in the meanwhile wars and the like are also being funded with countrys' money and there are homeless and starving people. I don't get sometimes.

The trek is practised in the Hindu religion and is one holy trek.
And Good news buddy, world is safe, you are safe, and I am safe. Still there are 3 experiments left, but now we have the confidence that they will go off well.
Cheers.

Thank you for your nice comments to my response. It is so true about disturbing mother nature. Doesn't make sense.
I didn't here of this trek you are speaking of. I guess there are some people really taking it to heart. I am a little worried but I am going to live my life as if September 11 will arrive after this supposed impending disaster on Wednesday.
