Lakshmi Tatma - Miracle or Random?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lakshmi_Tatma i think its amazing how this little girl was born after her mom had a dream to build a temple for this god and then during the celebrations of Lakshmi she gives birth to her daughter whom has 8 limbs just like the goddess.. i agree with anyone in that position to getting corrective surgery for their children but this case is so eerie it makes me wonder if this was some kind of sign and that it was not meant to be corrected.. what do you guys think? did they do the right thing? do you think it was a sign (whether or not you have the same beliefs) and do you think it messed up whatever miracle with it being just like the goddess in correcting it? one thing i have to say is that its awesome that the parents didnt sell her off or charge for people to see her like she was a freak..
