Have You Ever Had Anything Stolen?

How did you feel? 
I just recently had a motor scooter stolen. I was just about to put it on the market to sell when it was stolen early one morning. I was devastated because I felt violated. 
They did catch the 20 year old man who stole it but they had to let him go because I was on vacation at the time and couldn't prosecute. Apparantly he didn't notice that I had taken the tag off it. But worse than that, he did quite a bit of damage to it when he broke the ignition to steal it (as well as some cosmetic damage). Now I can't sell it without spending some unbudgeted money to fix it. What do you say we become a support group here?

hi there. i have lost a lot of small things. often it used to be books, money. but once my dad's cycle was stolen when in was in our home. we used to keep the cycle in the second floor. morning when we got up we weren't able to open the main door, we asked for help from the milk man who opened it for us. we were shocked to see that the cycle was missing. the thief had managed somehow to move it from the terrace in the first floor. we never got it.

yep, I had my phone stolen when I drank with my friends. Too bad eh? I just got from work, when my friends invited me for a drink. Then I fell asleep, when I woke up, it's gone. Somebody said that a gay friend took it. But he strongly denied so, I just didn't mind and forget about the phone. Though it costs a lot, I just learned my lessons and never drink without securing my belongings.

I have had things stolen many times, usually nothing big though. I have had cd's taken many times. The worst was on christmas eve this year, someone broke into my car and stole all of the gifts I just bought. They tried to get the stereo but couldn't get it out. Its just pathetic that people do that. If they want something, work for it like I do.
