I was bullied myself and never understood why they had to pick on someone else? , there was people I never liked but I never bothered them, and yet these boys took pleasure at taking the p*ss out of other people, what makes someone do that?

Hmm to make someone bully someone else is because they want themselves to look bigger and stronger. They make other people look smaller, when they make themselves look bigger. Thats what i think . . .

I think it may be the way they are raised. If a child lacks in disapline growing up, I believe they will bully other kids. It is also in the nature of the child. Most bully's are in trouble in other areas as well, grass fires, stealing that sort of thing. Which seems to stem from a cry for help.

They are teaching about this in kindergarten at my daughters school. I think it may start early. With so many kids and parents having insecurities it doesn't surprise me. I think bullying makes some feel superior. But it doesn't get them far in life.

In my opinion the reason people bully is mainly down to the fact the individual is either jealous of another or has been bullied previously themselves in life. It is fairly common that those that have been bullied early in life tend to grow up and become bullies. Other bullies who tend to do it purely for jealous reasons for example at school you might get bullied because you a little bit clever compared to other pupils or your more attractive.
