I have seen many posts where pagans and christians battle it out for supremcy. Pagans say they have been around before Christianity and Christians say they have been around longer than Pagans. So here's my Question? Most Christians believe that God created everything which means that Paganism stemmed from christianity at some point. But pagans believe that Christianity came after Paganism Since Christians as a whole use The Bible, A cannon of stories, writings etc that were collected from ancient people of the Jewish culture to prove the existance of God. What Book or Books do Pagan's use to provide proof of the existance of their Goddess? Thanks. No religon bashing here please just info.

There is no book that we follow....its just that Christianity HASNT been around as long as other religions...for example Hinduism IS the OLDEST religion out there..its before Christianity as well..Not to mention the fact that the bible DOES mention Witches which implies that Witchcraft was around and in practice when the bible was written..There are many ways, records etc etc that show it....As for "proof" of a Goddess...well its not one, its many, many Gods and Goddess and I for one dont need proof...I could actually care less what anyone else believes for they arent me and I'm not them ya know....I say to each his own, whatever works for you works so go for it.... I have to say though that the whole Christians vs Pagans thing goes back centuries to the times when the Catholic Church was trying to take and maintain control of EVERYONE..in comes the Burings...thats where it all stemmed from IMO...and if you tink about it..If the church HADNT created such hatred toward the Pagans and if they'd just been accepting and left well enough alone there were be no annimosity today towards Pagans..

Here's another point. By definition a Christian is one who believes in Christ which according to the christian belief that means from the beginning of time. And if that's true than where's the written history of the Goddess. And I agree with your idea that the Hatred of the Pagans is unacceptable. As several of my closest friends are Pagan and I love them for who they are. And last time I checked witchcraft and paganism were differents sects of the same religious belief system. Just like catholics and protestants are differnt.

Hi onlinetomakemoney, Long long time ago befor anyone could read or write, there were pagans, the don't need to have to write or read to know what is around them nature is what is all about but when christianity came about they condem the pagans and said they are the first religion, if you go to a very old churches you will find things where pagans used to be there, but what do I know.
