Why can't I get my B&** in gear?

I have a custom made soap to make. It's a cool cloudy day, I have the recipe all made, have everything lined out on the cabinet, but I can't seem to make myself go in the kitchen and actually start the measuring and pouring and mold lining. It would take me all of 30 minutes to an hour to get it done, but I just can't seem to get started.
Am I the only one that has problems getting started on something semi-new? Am I afraid of failure? Or am I just enjoying myLot altogether too much?

Oh I am in the same boat.
I have been promising my family to make an apple pie. I've got all the stuff, but I just keep putting it off - I'll do it later, there's no time now, I'm too tired, we don't want a pie today, do we?
It just goes on and on.
Sometimes I'm in the right mood, and I do lots, but lately I just feel so tired and can't even get started.
For me it isn't fear of failure, but just me being lazy!
Is it the weather? I don't know, I just know that pie is not cooking itself!

I never thought of myself as one who worked best under pressure. I usually leave that to my youngest daughter.1 person likes this
