The treatment cost of kidney disease is not limited to the cost of dialysis, the cost is multiplied and then multiplied and multiplied again as it becomes a very big burden not just for that people who have this disease but also to their family. Patients developing kidney failure has two options for treatment, dialysis and kidney transplant. Dialysis comes in the form of hemodialysis where the patient's blood is made to run through a series of tubes which removes poisons and excess fluid that have accumulated in the blood, after this the blood is returned to the patient. The patient needs to travel with a dialysis unit each time for treatment. Those patients who develop kidney failure see transplantation as the only solution to regain their lives. Studies have shown that kidney transplantation offers the best option for patients with kidney failure. Those patients who had kidney transplant have better quality of life than to those who are on dialysis.
