Ha, yeah! Some bloke at the train station once asked me why it was that one of my sons had brown eyes & the other had blue. I said it was probably because my husband had blue & I had brown. He said it looked a bit 'suspicious' & went on to tell me about ' this white woman I know had a coloured baby even tho her husband's white as well'... err, excuse me...hardly in the same league I think?? Oddly enough, he made no comment about the fact that one of my sons had straight blond hair whilst the other had curly dark hair. Then he topped it off nicely by asking when the next one was due (& I'd just bought myself new jeans after getting back to a 24" waist.... yes,it was some years ago ) When I said I had no current plans he just laughed & said 'Well, it looks like you've got another one in there...' I refrained from saying what I was thinking (clue.... 2 words... the second was 'off')

A coworker asked me if I was pregnant a year ago and I literally went back to my cubicle and cried my eyes out. The really horrible part was that I was only at 150 pounds, much smaller than her, and I had actually lost a little bit of weight. It's never a good idea to ask someone if they are pregnant, EVER. I think I will hold that against her forever.

After I had kids my weight carried differently. It is like my kids made a spot for fat to store up. I still have a sizeable tummy though I am losing weight slowly. I think it will be there forever. I will just need to learn to tuck it in my pants when I lose the weight that is filling it.

That is just horrible!! This happened to me right after I had my first child. He was about 1 month old and I was pushing him in the stroller. Then someone I knew saw me and stopped to talk . She asked when I was due....I could have strangled her right there! DUH...I was pushing a new born in a stroller!!

Aww, that's the worst thing to say to someone! Which is why I never ask. And luckily, no one's ever asked me if I were pregnant as well. Whew. I would be mortified and then depressed if this happened to me.So, what did you do? Did you really go on a diet? Or did it not affect you at all?

I had kind of an opposite problem. With both my pregnancies I lost a lot of weight, the day before I delivered my son I weighed 25 pounds less than the day I found out I was pregnant and with my daughter it was 15 pounds. Fortunately I had very healthy pregnancies and both kids were born healthy, but for me it was the best "diet" I've ever been on, lol! Have a great day.

Only from my sisters when they are teasing me. When I was pregnant and just recently gave birth, my neighbor did ask me If I hadn't given birth yet. To me, it would seem obvious that I just gave birth coz my tummy is to me a lot smaller. But to her it looked like I was still 9 months pregnant!
