The WAP feature is for when you want to access the Internet through your cellphone or PDA. It provides all of the basic services of a computer-based web browser, but in a simplified form to work within the restrictions of a mobile handset, such as having a smaller screen. You can use WAP to download mobile content such as ringtones, animated screensavers, wallpapers and games. You can also use it to check your email (these services have a corresponding charge depending on your network provider and the WAP sites you visit).
