http://inspot.org/gateway.aspx choose where you are from (or just pick some where) and then you can fill out a e-card to send to who you have slept with saying that you infected them with whatever it may be.. WTF?!?! although totally bizarre its a good idea.. most people wouldnt tell anyone.. i guess this is a way they can.. although i hope a lot of people dont prank some people with these cards!! what do you guys think? good idea? knowledge is power.. what would you do if you got one of these?? especially since they can be done anonymously..

LOL! I think that is so funny. If it can be done anonymously then it is a guarantee that they will be used to prank people. But to tell you the truth it sounds like a good idea for those people who will actually use them to warm someone without telling them who they are so that person cant spread rumors about them.I have seen this done before ..So its both a good and bad idea.

i think that the good outweighs the bad definitely.. especially when you have so many creeps that just go around and infect people and dont care

I think this idea is totally sick, and I see it as being more harm than good. First of all, it's a totally crude and crass way to tell someone the truth, secondly, you're right. Millions and millions of people are going to use this website every single day in order to prank people, and scare the crap out of them.

they need to figure out a way of regulating it or something.. maybe copying the ip addy at the very least in case some one wants to trace i back when they think its false or something

I see this being used as a prank way too often. They need to have some way to monitor it where a doctor can sign off on your diagnosis before you can send the cards.

i think that they should only be able to get and use the website through the doctors or something.. having it to where anyone could find and use it is way too dangerous

I think it's a good idea it lets people know they should get checked for stuff. If someone had something and possibly infected me I would want to know so that I could go get medicine for it. But some do make a good point that someone would prank send one to someone and get them worried but maybe that's what is needed to get everyone to pay attention and go get checked just in case.

I think that if someone was really considerate enough to tell a partner that they had an STD, then they should tell them face to face. Its more personal. Telling a person something this important by an e-card is several notches lower than even doing it by phone. It shows little if any consideration. Also, I think you're right about worrying if people will use this as a prank. In fact if someone does that I would consider it a form of harassment as defined by law (ie: I think they should be charged with harassment). No doubt people will do this to total strangers without thinking about the many consequences that will occur in people's lives, including broken marriages (imagine a prank where you send something like this to a stranger and that stranger's spouse see the card first).

i guess some people sending the card probably have either had quite a few people or its been a long time since (just dunno if they were in the time frame or something) and they dont really contact them or anything so emailing wouldnt be that big of a thing.. but if it had been like a person that had been in a long relationship and only with like 1 or 2 people i would think that since it was a more of a connection or something then it would be rude to drop an email than call but i dunno.. i could see the huge potential to screwing up so many people and like you said marriages

I don't like the idea of pranks such as this one. You don't know how a person is going to react. While some do take precautions and go to a general practitioner, others might take it so seriously and you cannot predict how they are going to react. So I think that this prank is a bad taste to do it.

yeah i think the site is a great idea but i think there is a huge chance of there being some one abusing it and using it for a prank.. they should have it to where you doctor or some one can tell you about the site instead of just finding it on the web while cruising around

that's a great idea. crazy! well, i wonder if people will use it properly or they will misuse it to....you mentioned it...prank their friend with the card. i wonder if some people can bear not to misuse it. well, if i get it, i think i will just see the doctor or have some lab test.
