I Hate Time Warner Cable

The city has given me a citation for an uplifted sidewalk and they want me to repair it. My gripe with this is that Time Warner Cable has a cable box installed near the problem area and I don't want to to make any problems with this area while fixing my sidewalk. If I destroy the box then it's my problem. If Time Warner Cable destroys part of MY sidewalk with THEIR box... it's MY Problem?! That is not fair and that is not just. I have looked at various Municipal Codes and they all state that if such a problem comes from such installations or boxes that is up to the Cable Company to fix. Time Warner got a permit from the City to install this box without my permission. I'm fighting every step of the way because the City and Time Warner Cable are trying to wash their hands of a problem that is not made by me. If you also think that Time Warner Cable should fix the problem area of the sidewalk I urge you to e-mail Construction manager Gary Ordway at gary.ordway@twcable.com make the subject: "Fix the sidewalk on Louise Dr." I hope that with more e-mails I'll have the power of the people by my side and prove that cities and corporations can not pick on the little guy. PS Thanks for reading my rant. I know people are having bigger problems than this, but I hope that mine will be the start of something when Your City might bully you to fix something that someone else damaged.
