Catching up Five years later...

On the highly anticipated season five premiere, five years have passed since Katherine shot her ex-husband as Susan, Lynette, Bree and Gabrielle stood together in solidarity to protect her. Susan tries to hide her relationship with a new man. Gaby questions her abilities as a mother. Bree is on the verge of publishing her own cookbook as business partner Katherine grows envious. Lynette catches her teenaged twins spearheading illegal activities. And finally, Edie returns to Wisteria Lane in jaw-dropping fashion with a new man in tow, her new husband Dave (played by Neal McDonough). Wow, that says enough to have me waiting for this to air! Of course, Lynette and Tom's kids will all be re-cast. Joshua Moore is set to play Parker, the oldest son. Charles and Max Carver will play troublemaking twins Porter and Preston, respectively, and Kendall Applegate has signed on as Penny, the youngest child and only daughter. The three sons will now be teenagers, while the daughter is around 8 or 9 years old. I'll kinda miss the younger boys on the show! They were really cute, even while they were getting in so much trouble! Penny, well, we really didn't see too much of her, so I guess that her being older will give some new storylines, too. Still trying to guess what happened between Susan and Mike, though!
