does internet friends be treated as good as real-time friends?

i have a lot of internet friends in my social networking websites im in including you who replies to this post...LOL... but for me, as long as its your friend, they should be treated as friend. friends are friends and i feel secure when im with them. i am not going to share this discussion to my parents, only to my friends because im ashamed... LOL
how about you? do you treat internet friends like real friends?

In my view a good friend is a good friend whether online or in real life. Like you I have some friend in mylot but relationship is limited to this site. I also have friends on orkut and facebook but I prefer my real life friends as I interact with them day in day out.

i dont think internet friends can be treated as the real time friends.we dont know the background of the internet friends.and even if they are helpful or not .we can depend our real time friends any time but not the internet friends .
