Are blog comments good backlinks?

You know how some links are "don't follow" or whatever and do absolutely nothing for your google page rank. I was just wondering if you add you link to the comment section of blogs similar to your if it is considered a "do-follow" quality backlink.

Actually for Real Backlinks I've found that blogs are the worst! Most of them now have that No Follow attribute attached to it. When I put my Backlink X-ray vision glasses on I discovered that social bookmarking site, forums and other sources were farrr better for gaining Real backlinks over blogs

using it for backlink is good. It works in some sites.

You want to ask website owners to put your site in there blogs or websites if your site have good Matters and quality content then you will get good backlinks to your websites.
