I make mine with coconut,egg whites, almond extract. Sometimes I add nuts sometimes I don't. I think there is a small amount of flour in the recipe I use but not much at all if any.
How do you make them?
Actually I've never made them before but now that you mention it, that is a good idea. I think they would come out really great in my new countertop infrared oven. What shall I make with the egg yolks? Cream puffs?
I used to make macaroons years ago but not the egg whitey ones, I used to just use coconut,sugar,cornflour and egg and vanilla and sometimes lemon for extra flavour, they were very popular in my house.
