in the Philippines computer shops is a must for students and for those who don't have computer access in their homes. when we still don't have our internet connection, i don't want to go to computer shops since it's too crowded and for me even unsafe. unsafe since i don't know what kind of people i'm dealing and surrounded with. during my college my days, i rarely visit a computer shop like what most students do nowadays. maybe i'm just paranoid with the kind of situation we in the Philippines is facing.

computer shops or what we call internet cafe, are usually crowded.. this is because the operator/owner tries to maximize the space.. this means lack of privacy to the customers 'coz the one beside you can see what you are doing.. also if you do not know how to erase your traces (usernames/passwords), someone can have access to your account.. i am not fond of going to internet cafe.. because of above reasons.. last time i was in the philippines, i use yahoo messenger from my mobile phone.. even though costly, i feel safe..

Not only that you yourself in unsafe but also your email accounts or anything like it. Computer shops are known to put keyloggers in their computers meaning what you typed in in the keyboard will be retreived using a keylogging software. Computer shops nowadays are hotspots for holduppers because most of these shop owners don't provide security and to think that these shops are open twenty four hours.

hello
But i have a lot of friends from philippines, they worked hard, economized and got them own computer with its own Internet connexion... i don't really see what you mean with computer Shop if you mean Cyberspace.. i think there is no way than that to make some extra-money in the begining since you are not able to get a computer now...
Goodluck and you gona make it ;)
