Thinking makes you hungry! How thinking can make you fat.

I was reading The Week, a popular news magazine that covers an assortment of news from around the world and is published weekly, if you have not heard of it. I found a very interesting article which I would like to share with you.
"In a study at Laval University in Quebec, groups of students were given tasks that required either deep thought, relaxed thought, or no attention whatsoever. After the tasks, the volunteers were offered a snack. The relaxed testers just nibbled, but the thinkers ate as if they'd spent the day plowing the fields; the moderate-brain activity group consumed 203 more calories than the resting group, and the deep thinkers ate 253 more (an increase of nearly 30 percent)..."
I found this really interesting. I am very skinny but I think a lot. Maybe I burn more calories that way but I just don't really eat them enough? What do you make of this?

Hi Sheepie,
When people are thinking they are concentrating on someting and they like to chew on someting to help them so that is why they eat but most people like to chew on gums instead of eating vast amount of food unless its given to them.

I would say that I need to relax. LOL!
I eat way to much so I guess I am always uptight and thinking to much.
