Is There a COBOL Version for Vista?

For programmers out there that has used COBOL or who are still using COBOL. I have a COBOL compiler and liker but the program that I create can't run on Vista DOS prompt. I know there is a workaround which is to install a virtual machine and install Windows XP or DOS and run my programs there. I just want to know if there could be a cobol version that can be used in conjunction with Windows VISTA?
