Help me remember

So I am a little young to have a faulty memory. I have lost 2 items that I NEED!. 1. We have a iRobot Roomba. About 3 months ago the thing broke and I had to send it into service. We finally got it back abotu 2 weeks ago. When I sent the Roomba in I had to removed the battery brushes, ect. I had the battery with the brushes, then I remember trying to charge the battery but not being able to figure out how. I was sure I left the battery and the charger together. I checked the room (completely emptied) the room when the brushes and the charger were. No battery. I NEED to vacuum my house desperately and don't have $40 to replace the battery. 2. When we were evacuating for hurricane Gustav one of the handsets for the cordless phone was knocked down. We though that it fell down by the phone and phone modem. When we got back, couldn't find the handset. We found the one for the other charge, but we are still missing one. Any ideas where this stuff may be? I have been racking my brain and can't find them!
