Leaving Las Vegas Starring Nicolas Cage

I just finished watching the movie "Leaving Las Vegas" which stars Nicolas Cage and Elisabeth Shue. At the end of the movie, when he dies I am still trying to figure out exactly what he dies of? Is it liver failure due to all of his drinking? Or cardiac arrest or ??? Has anyone ever really figured it out? It is such a sad ending. I really hoped that he had found true love with the Elisabeth Shue character and that they could help each other fix their lives and be happy with one another. But it is a sad ending... [i] One thing I can say is - Nicolas Cage is an outstanding actor![/i] Oh well, have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I love to watch Nicolas Cage he is so sexy. But I have never seen that movie. There are alot of movies I have seen with him in them can't rememebr the names. But they are good. Your friend onlydia. Read more of you later.

I like most all of the movies he is in. He is such a good actor he molds himself to whatever role he is in. And he is sexy!

think I have seen this one but we watch so many that I get lost woth them I will have to watch it again to see if I have seen it. Yup I think he is an outstanding actor too.

Yes, it is a good movie, but it is definitely not one of those "feel good movies". I am always sad when it ends. I just remembered there is another movie I saw with him dying at the end and that was "The Wicker Man". I hate seeing him die! He is so cute!

It's been a long time since I watched that movie...but I do like Nicolas Cage...I like him in just about any movie he has been in....hope you find out the answer to your question!

I would say liver failure probably. That is a pretty good movie. I just saw him in Ghost Rider and that is a great movie! They are have a Nicolas Cage marathon on Encore this weekend I think.

I was watching the same marathon this weekend too! I just finished watching "Ghost Rider". I hope they come out with a sequel of that.
