The importance and value of monetary wealth is reinforced to us--cars, celebrity, pampering, exotic travel, a desirable wardrobe, and money beyond comprehension are constantly before our eyes as the goals you "should" strive for.Studies show that the wealthy are no happier than anyone else. In fact some would say people in such circumstances are even more prone to addiction, depression, and feelings of low self-worth. The real goals you should desire are a healthy body and a positive lifestyle. Eating well, exercising, and getting adequate rest gives you an edge against cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and other ailments that are wrecking our society and cutting lives short everyday. A long, healthy life and taking care of yourself should be your new marker for wealth.

Money kind of has its power. Without it, we are not going anywhere. Well, too much of anything is unnesseary, money included. However, if there is not enough money for someone to do something, it will take someone some time to earn it. A moneygrubber happens to be in my group. I just find it hard to understand him. If I don't tell u, u will never know that he is a multimillionaire. Everyday, he is not only in shabby and old clothes. Sure, I have no right to judge it. But he takes the public water away in order to save his own water. Also, he eats public watermellons and other food so fast as he haven't had food for days. He is neither a charitarian who will do something for the poor, nor a great parent who struggles for his generation as yet unborn. All his hobby is to see his money become more and more and has what it takes to watch the number that makes no sense. Yesterday, someone wanna throw away some fruit, which almost went bad. He stopped the guy who was about to throw it and told him he would eat it. What was he doing? This was unbelievable. Additionally, we used to drink bottled water and always left the bottles for the multimillionaire so that he will make some pocket money. Then, at least his "number" will be kind of larger. He can't take it with him. Everything is borrowed. I only know some miser in books. He is more like that. Well, it is his business anyway. I get mean to judge him. But he is actually poor in my opinion since he always makes himself hungry...

I guess money is more important for him than his health. He never realize that our health is wealth.

Money itsself has no power, it's the people behind it who think they have power. It's the people who allow themselves to be manipulated by people in power with money who give people the illusion of thinking that money has power and/or is power. I don't care about money. As long as I have enough to live, I am happy.

I agree with you!And if we have enough for pur needs what more can we ask for...Living just enough is the right way and i would also choose to be like that than living having more than enough having the power from money but unhappy.
