I woke up this morning still in the throws of my cold. I reached up on top of my head board to get a kleenex. It was a brand new box 2 days ago. Low and behold..empty. How long does it take you to go through a box of tissues when you have a cold? Guess I will have to go to the bathroom box.

I went h=through alot and a roll of paper towels and several borrowed hankies from my husbands drawer. I do hope since this was three days ago that you are feeling bunches better. I bet your nose is or was sore from all those tissues I know mine was sore.

I tend to resort to toilet paper when the tissue box is empty. My father, when I was a tyke, he would carry around a handkerchief with him. This would mean he was never without 'tissue' but I rather thought the use of the hankie was a bit .. gross.

It akes me about two days to go through a box of Kleenex also when I have a cold with a runny nose. I constantly have to blow or wipe my nose. they do nto last long at all when you are sick.

i have a perma stuffy nose due to whatever reason (yes, it affects my smelling and tasting and i have had a few operations on it but to no avail) anyways, to that end, we always have kleenexs on hand because i am always using them but when i have a cold, i use them more so - it takes about a day or so.

Hi, for me it takes 2-3 days before I have to get a new box, I also keep the little pocket purse kleenex packs with me, 1 in my car, 1 in my purse 1 in the bathroom 1 in the kitchen and 1 in the livingroom. and then the small aquare baoxes are in my kids rooms, in each othem. so you never know when your going to need a kleenex.lol especially when your out and about with kids.lol Bizmom24

I usually put box of tissue one for the kitchen, one for the living room and room for bedroom, coz i can't help but take tissue every now and then specially when i have colds. Sometimes we need to shop for it twice a week. My husband said we need to save so i am slowing down to use it now hahaha.

Normally not very long, maybe a day or two. But it seems that if I have a cold or sniffles, so does my s/o, it's never one or the other, it's both at the same time. So we go through a box pretty quick. Around this time of year we try to keep kleenex on hand just in case. I usually have one in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom, so running completely out usually doesn't happen.

It normally takes awhile to go through a box around here unless we all have colds. There are normally 4 or 5 boxes scattered around the house though, so that helps one last longer since we do not always grab from the same box.
