Have you ever used the Better Business Bureau site to research a company you are making sure is legit? I have done this several times before I commit myself. For example before I joined with my credit counseling corporation I checked them out on on the BBB to make sure their were no complaints on file. I know this is not a completely fool proof way to make sure you are doing business with a reputable company or not, but it is an added measure that we have every right to pursue. So I was just wondering how many of you check with the BBB and how many of you actually lodge complaints with the BBB for companies?

I have because I've worked in the legal field and its important to know the standing of a company based on their complaints or non complaints. I've never logged a complaint but I've known of people who have. It takes a lot to make somebody wage that kind of dissatisfaction. After working in the business arena for many years I've always remember this saying, "A satisfied customer tells at least two people, a dissatisfied customer tells 15 people."

i have checked with the better business bureau many many times-i am always searching the net and searching ways to make money at home and i am always on the better business bureau page-you also get many many companies that are not even registered with them-great to have it to check all these companies out-especially with the amount of scamming going on

I have checked with them several times, mainly about work at home companies. I do believe that I made a complaint on one company that didn't promise me what I had expected. And I do plan to contact them again if anything that is of a scam.. I am glad too utilize services as these for crooked crooks!
