Too much fat!

Recently, I purchased a type of 'thick sliced' bacon. I do prefer bacon that is more meaty. I don't really have a favorite brand, but there are some that I think of buying because they are on sale and then put back. Too much fat, to me, means no real flavor.

Personally for me, I know Bacon is fattening and Yes, there are brands out there that are better than others. For me though, I always prefer to stick to a better name brand as most of the off brands are so Fatty for sure. Personally I have never looked at a package to see the Fat content, etc. like I probably should. I know if I did I am sure it would surprise me. As to a favorite, not really sure.

Yes, I usually enjoy Limiano bacon, this is a portuguese brand that makes the most delicious dairy products and I always get to buy them. Better than their Azores ham, probably only their Bifa's ham.

My hubby usually buys Oscar Mayer. Never even heard of Timely Fare. Maybe they named it that because it is so fatty it only gives your heart a short time to beat. Sounds icky. I wouldn't buy it again.

I really don't have a brand of bacon I just buy turey becon and I cook it in the oven and it is really good and does not have as much fat in it as others. I also found out that veggie bacon has no fat in it at all and to tell you the truth it is not bad at all I like it and I eat that sometimes, but I only buy goodmorining veggie bacon thats the best and you can't even tell you are eating veggie beaco and not real beacon.
