coal stove

some people prefer gas stoves and some prefer electric stoves but have you ever used a coal stove.Years ago in my town thats all people had were coal stoves and still today people miss having them-especially for baking-did you grow up with a coal stove or were you ever in a home where they used one-my how things have changed[lol]

I have either had gas or electric. The closest thing to a coal stove that I have ever had is the coal burner we have in the basement. It has been a whole new experience for me! lol They don't have coal burners in Texas. I also found out that if the fire is going to go out, it will do so on the coldest day of the year, and it's not that easy to get it going again lol.

coal burners are a great source of heat as well as the wood burners- so warm and comfy-
