The way you fix your sweet potatoes sound real good too. I'm going to give it a try. There really isn't a recipe. You put the potatoes fresh or canned in a casserole dish and dot with some butter add some maple syrup or brown sugar over them. Sprinkle some pecan halves Cover with marshmallows when they are almost done finish cooking when the marshmallows are lightly browned.

I like them baked with a little brown sugar and marshmellows over the top of them. It is not something we have often. Only usually them during holidays yet I don't know why cause everyone likes them.

They are not only good but I just learned some studies are showing that they have significant antioxidant capacities. They also help stabilize blood sugar levels and lowered insulin resistance. It is looking like the sweet potatoe is going to be one of those top good for foods

Oh, we look on them as a vegetable. I either boil or steam them and sometimes we have them mashed with a little bit of butter and pepper but othertimes leave them plain. I also bake them to have with a roast, slice and put on the bar-b-que, use in casseroles. Lastly, I par cook them, put on baking tray, put a dash of olive oil on them, and then sprinkle with herbs. Put in over until brown.

We always boil them then cook them down in a syrup of brown sugar and butter. When they thicken we put them in a casserole dish and cover them with mini marshmallows. After that we put them in the oven until the marshmallows brown a little. Good stuff!

We have different ways to eat sweet potatoes. So far as I know, we have them boiled and then have them dried. We have also boil them in the water till they are ready to eat. We slice fresh ones to cook together with rice to make porridge. We also mash them and make sweet potato podwer and use the powder to cook food to make them tender to taste, etc.
