Maybe you should try a different blend. Arabica coffee has good aroma but not so much body. Robusta has body but little aroma. You could blend the two. Cheers!!

First off clean you coffee maker. Take some white vinegar and run it through your coffee makers 2 times, then run a batch of just plain water.
When I make coffee it is double filters. We have one of those gold filters, but I also use a paper filter. The measurement I use is take the number of cups you are going ot brew and divide that number by 2, then add 1. So 10 cups of coffee could be: 10/2 = 5 + 1 = 6. 6 scoops of coffee. I use a tablespoon measurer for my scooper.

i guess it depends on how you like your coffee- strong, more weak, etc. i like mine on the stronger side. i go by the rule 1 scoop of coffee for every 2 cups of water. it seems to work fine, no one has ever complained about the taste, and it doesn't taste too strong or anything. good luck! :) i am off to make my morning cup! :)
