I am falling from somewhere and i keep on falling untill i suddenly feel like i have touched the ground and I wake up with a odd kind of jerk that makes me feel like i have literally lost ground from underneath my feet.
Since childhood i always had this dream on few nights and the frequency increased during sports or exams or any competitive or stressful period.Last night I again had this dream and said my mom and guess what My brother and all my family members also used to have this dream during their childhood.
Does anybody else have had such weird repeated dreams during their childhood?
Is it very common to have such dreams?

The fear of falling and a quick loud noise is the only fear a baby is born with. As we grow older we outgrow this fear but in younger people they very often dream of things they fear. It can be snakes and other animals, water, tornadoes, fire and even certain kinds of people and a number of other things. Just do your best to ignore it and it will let up.

Well ,it is common to have dreams when you have stress on something .But it is a little strange to have the same dream at night when the stress comes.Maybe when you're a child ,something irrated your brain so deeply that even when you are grown up ,similar dream appear frequently.
