tell me guys who is happier in life? a blind person who can't see the bad things around him or a normal person who can see all this. i think the blind person will be more happy as he doesn't know what bad things are going around him and as he is blind so everybody will pitty on him and no body would tell him what are all the bad things going around him? so he will nbe more happier than a normal person who has to face the world with his eyes wide open and see good as well as the bad things. by pittying on blind person and not telling him the truth is correct or wrong? should we encourage it or should we tell him all the truth. telling lies to him is like decieving him.do you agree with that?

I agree with you. My best friend could see her whole life. Senior year, we went on a trip and she was hit by a car. She has been blind since. She doesn't regret being a seeing person, but prefers to be blind. She said that when you lose one sense you gain strength in the others. She could still hear the bad things in the world. She didn't get to see the towers fall on 9-11 but she heard all of it on the news radio. She hears the drama all the time with the election things, children being abused, and what not. I feel for her because she can't see the pretty things I can, but she can hear them, and touch, taste, and smell them, and I think that right there makes it all worth it. She might not be able to see things but I am sure her mind is showing her wonderful things.

I think it's a double edge sword, he dosen't see the bad things around him but will never see all the good things either. I doubt blind people like others to feel pity for them also as a human being on this planet he deserves to know the truth everything and the unseen reality he lives in..good or bad. But thats just my opinion:) happy mylotting
