Drive thru late at night

My boyfriend and I were starving when we left a concert last night, so, on the way home, we visited a Taco Bell. I realize we came through late at night when it looked as if this location was short staffed, but we waited nearly ten minutes before we even had our order taken, and there was no one in front of us! I don't know WHAT they were doing... We were about to drive away when the girl came on and apologized and took our order. We had to repeat the order several times before she repeated it correctly back to us. After waiting nearly another ten minutes for our food, of course, half of it was wrong! This is totally unacceptable. The cashier was nice, but this doesn't make up for the other areas of service that were lacking, such as speed for a fast food restaurant and accuracy. I have worked in fast food myself and realize it can be stressful at times, but they were not busy and we were very clear as to what we wanted to order, so this error should not have happened, especially when it took them incredibly long to take the order and make the food in the first place! Have you ever had to wait a long time at the drive thru even though it's late and the inside is closed and they are NOT busy, and then get half your order WRONG?!? What did you do?

That's really not right at all. What were they doing that they didn't notice that someone was at the drive-through? I have never gotten any food late at night, so I can't tell you that it happens all the time or not. Maybe it's because their supervisor is not there that they are lax. I wonder what else they're lax about when they're not supervised--such as food handling skills.

Well, when we first pulled up the girl said hello and informed us she would be "right with us." So we waited one or two minutes and I told my boyfriend if they don't say anything by the time it reached a certain time on the clock, I would pull away, but we waited a few minutes because we were so hungry!! We were a little worried ourselves regarding the food handling skills and such, but I won't go into detail about that... I called the manager today and told him about my experience and which employees waited on us, etc. I also filled out a survey with all the info on the website. Hopefully at least SOMETHING gets done to resolve that issue, at least to some small degree. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to that location. It was one that was not our usual spot because we were driving from an out-of-town concert. Thank goodness our regular one isn't too bad!

Yes i ahve had to wait far to long many times. Normally i will comment to the girl at the window and say...so much for fast food huh. Or if i have a friend in the car, i will say to them when i know the window person can hear me,...and why do they call these places Fast Food? Only once did i put up a huge stink, nad that was because ocne they got us our food, everything excpet like one item, was incorrect. I made them remake it, and demanded I get it for free...and so I did...they were lucky or corporate would have been called. oh BTW, this was at a certain hamburger place starting with MC..lol.

Yes, they had to re-make three of our items, and we ordered six items. I have had it worse than that before, but that experience was by far the longest wait I've ever encountered! RIDICULOUS!!!!

I never went back, I don't care how bad I wanted it. I had a Wendy's that did that, I gave them 3 chances and they blew every one of them so I just went to another one and they got it right the first time. I know that Taco Smell is a corportion and it doesn't matter where their money comes from but come on, get it right you dolts!
