We have the notification feature at mylot that helps to inform us about the discussions started by our friends directly through email.I never noticed about this, until I was wondering why I missed my friend's discussions. The discussions were at the mylot page, but I never knew about it. After that whenever I added any friend to my list, I started to switch "on" the notification feature so that I never missed any of any friend's discussions. How about you? Do you keep the notification feature "on" for all your friends at mylot?

No, only for the attractive women. Call me sexist if you want but that's what I do. Its not that I'm not interested in all the others but the number of emails and other stuff I get I just don't have the time. So, unless you're a looker, you're just lost. Luv you !

Nope. I never do that. I have some 200+ friends in my list. And its still growing. Some of my friends are just crazy in starting discussions. They do start some 10 to 15 discussions per day. If I keep the notification on for everyone, I will have to just spend my time with my mail. I won't get any time to spend here in mylot. Lol. So I never turn the notifications on. Happy mylotting.

10-15 discussions in a day..I really wonder how they are able to think of that many discussions?

Yes I have the notification on for all of my active friends here on Mylot it's a great way of keeping informed as soon as your friends have started a discussion without wasting time looking for them! It also helps me not to respond twice to the same discussion which I used to do! As soon as I have responded to a discussion then I will delete the notification. I would be lost without it and it also keeps me busy as I have a lot of friends!

There are too many for that. Besides, the notification feature doesn't always work. I really look forward to discussions from several people, but I'm not notified. I search for them whenever I can get online.

I'm told the same thing by another friend too. I never thought we would miss few discussions even after switching on the "notify" feature..

Till a month back..all my friends notifications were on..But , then I had to switch few of them off...because , few of them kept posting discussions , just to make money... in bulk..making a single topic into half a dozen discussion..

For now I have the notification feature turned on. But, I am getting way too many emails and I can't get to the emails that I really need so I may have to change it later.

I have some of them on now. I'm aware that some of my friends have all of them on, but I work and run a business. Have fun on Mylot.

I do not keep the notification notice on for all my friends. If I did, I would never get to sleep. I just have it on for a few, and even then, I got to the myLot page and often answer it there first. I mean if you have only ten friends, but if you have over five hundred, well I heard that lack of sleep does drive you crazy and you start having figures from your dreams walking into the computer room when you are typing.

I have 300 over friends and I keep all the notifications on. I think less then half of them are active but still I have my emails full everyday with new notifications. If I am away at least I know I have responsibility to fulfill when I see a list of waiting list in my emails to be attended to.

I have all my friends in my friends list here in myLot their notifications turned on yet, there are still chances that I don't get notified about any discussions that they have started.. even so, whenever I get to add a new friend here in this site, I make it a point to be notified from them whenever they start discussions since it more convenient that way..(^_^ )

I do that for all my friends. Otherwise I'll never know when they post one! It makes me more efficient and I can help my friends with their discussions.

I keep my notification feature on all of the time. I check my email and go from there leaving responses on discussions.

to be honest i use the notification for some of the friends whose discussions i think are very nice and i respond to them regularly and i have some number of friends and they are always making discussion and coming up with new ideas and if i do use the notification feature for all then my inbox will be full of only mylot! so for the time being i use it for only selected friends.
