First love never dies....or is it?

Most of us who has a experience in relationship had our first love...I do! And you know what until now I can still remember the guy, some aweful memories, some sweet memories and even kept some love letters...my first love was all pure thoughts, pure of sweet passion to the one I love. As i read on the letters, i noticed all fresh hopes and good remarks that still makes me feel tingles. It was exciting of course, coz most of the experiences are first...first kiss, first date, first dance, first love letters, first movies, and many more...I invested so much energy, passion and love (?) into it...ahhh so good feeling and especially i was young and fresh and no stress at all. There's always a first time....what about ur experiences? By the way my first broken heart too...

first love is so exciting. new experiences, new joy, new life, etc. we are so emotional on this one. and yes, i had my first love too. and like you first heart broken. but until now, he's still in my mind. he's still the perfect guy for me. many times we have been on and off but i just cant get mad at him that much. but now, although he's still on my mind, we're better off as friends. we've talk about it several times. maybe we're just not meant to be

that's a sad story... sometimes i can't accept being friends but we have to. How did you know that you're just better off as friends?? is that because of young age?

we were like best friends. we're so open to each other and there are things that he can only tell to me and not to his other friends. and before, we tried several times to work on our relationship. we have on and offs but when we're friends we're just a hit. so now i have my own family i guess we're better off as friends only

i doubt if love ever fades in the first place. as time passes by, i think the feeling never fades, it just subsides.

I totally agree with you. I read a book about relationship one time, it said that our heart can be compared to a building with thousands of rooms. We can love many people and still keep them in our hearts even as time pass by. I wonder how would i feel the moment i see my first bf...

I guess my first love was my high school sweetheart. We met when I was 14 years old and started dating when I was 15. We dated for six years. I went to college, he did not, and our lives just grew apart. We were so compatible in high school, but now we are such different people. I think its a good thing that we didn't end up together, though I think deep down we will always love each other. Our relationship helped make me the person I am today.
