This week I find out if: 1. I have a job 2. I don't have a job 3. I get put in a pool of people who might have a chance at a job The company is outsourcing its IT to 3 different companies. Supposedly they're retaining the so-called SMEs (subject matter experts) and I am one. But my location may work against me (most of my co-workers are in Los Angeles and I am in Sacramento). So we shall cross our fingers (the "royal we" lol) and hope for the best. Meanwhile lazy old me has not gotten off my duff and updated my resume or anything. But then again if I do get let go, they are giving everybody a minimum of 60 days notice, so I can procrastinate a wee bit longer. Wish me luck!
