Do you use E-vite for your invitations to events?

I just finished using E-vite http://www.evite.com/ to invite people to something I am hosting. Do you use something like this to plan and track guests for parties, get togethers, etc? I ordered custom photo card invites for my daughter's birthday last year but since so many people are connected to the internet all the time these days - AND you can send evites via text on phones, this seems to be the up and coming way to do it.
I am bad about following up though, I call people to see if they're coming sometimes but not always, and somebody who doesn't rsvp (and sometimes wasn't even invited) always shows up lol. Granted for this event I DID state that invited guests could invite or bring others, but that's only because my guest list is small.

The site is really cute, they have so many different invite styles plus you can create a custom one in any category. I didn't do that yet, in fact this is the first time I have ever sent one out but it's much easier than buying cardstock and embellishments and it's free vs ordering photo ones lol.

i have not use it, but i have gotten a few from evite. I love this idea. i mean most everyone that i know i have their email address. saves you money on paper invites and stamps. If i were to have a party or something I use it for sure. It's a great idea

I haven't had an event to invite anyone lately, most of my family and friends use E-Vite, I get them all the time. I have a cousin who is in the entertainment business and he always send evites, my relatives that live in Alanta, Georgia are some of the most celebrating people in the world and almost every month I am getting evits from them. I a registered with evite. I just haven't use it yet.

hi mommyboo! yes, i love evite! it is great for sending cute online invitations and keeping track of who is coming, etc. we usually only use it for our friends- alot of our family members are older and do not use the computer. i will be using it to send out evites for our annual new year's eve party. :)
