What do you know about computers in cars? This morning driving on the freeway at 65 MPH my dash lights went on and off twice. No warning lights, I completed the trip with no further problem. Do you think this could be the computer?

I have heard of a similar fault on some new Ford cars with a fully electronic dash. If it is the case, you may need a new computer/motherboard - VERY expensive! I hope you are covered by the manufacturers warranty.

It could have been nothing more than a strong radio signal hitting an unshielded with that goes to the computer. Police cars and things like that have pretty strong radios in them. I wouldn't worry about it. If it gets to doing it often I would have it checked out.
