They've probably had this for a long time, but I don't use mapquest very often. The cheapest gas, according to map quest is $3.53 where I'm going to go. So have you ever used mapquest to find anything? Have you looked at a map of your area on mapquest to see where the cheapest prices are? Is it correct? I like the plotting a route aspect of map quest, I can go from my house to somewhere and they give me directions plus show me on the map.Do you use mapquest at all, very often, or all the time? What do you use it for mostly? I use it to find new Doctors if I'm going to one. I use it to find new employment if I'm going for an interview. Thanks and take care.

I prefer street altas that I had on my old computer..I hate mapquest and the GSP thing, because I live in a gated community and both mapquest and gsp when you put in my address takes you to the back gate where you can't get in unless you live here and have a sticker..This is why the Mary Kay girl was late, she used mapquest..On street altas, it takes you to the front gate where you can get in..I don't understadn why either, because I also went to the communities website, thinking if they had a map to get here and they also used mapquest which is stupid, if someone wanted to consider buying a home out here and they use the site to find it. they can't get in and possibly will get lost..

You are soo right. Mapquest has some problems. For awhile my community was supposed to be in a mountain in Vermont, not a valley in NY. So I had to tell people not to use mapquest. Otherwise they wouldn't even go to the right state. My other favorite thing is they didn't have a paved street where I lived, but they did have a cowpath through 1/2 a field. Now that is ridiculous! But major cities, they tend to be a little better. I think more businesses grease their palms so to speak!
Also gas was $3.45 today at the station they had at $3.53. But I'll take lower. It's a good idea to cross reference with a street atlas, if it's current.

Wow, a cowpath on mapquest, now that is funny...And it would take people to another state? I would like to have street atlas back, but we have to now look for another computer, turns out that not only the processor burned out, so was the motherboard..

Can you imagine one entire paved street missing, but a dirt path through a pasture is marked on a street map like mapquest? Amazing.

I didn't even realize Mapquest has a gas finder! Thanks for telling us.
I rarely use it anymore, since we bought the GPS. The only time I use Mapquest now is when my GPS does not know where a particular address is. That happened just this past weekend when I typed in the address of a new shopping mall we were going to go to on Saturday. It didn't register on the GPS so I just used Mapquest. I usually enter the addresses on the GPS while I'm in the house, like the day before and save the address in the GPS so all I have to do is select that address when we want to leave.
We don't leave the GPS in the car so it's usually in the house in a drawer until we know we are going to need it.
Before we bought the GPS, I used Mapquest for all addresses that I needed directions to get to.

I don't have a GPS, but I wish I did. It would help we with Civil Air Patrol, too. Take care.

I have used Mapquest a few times but found their route took me quite a distance out of the way. I do better getting directions directly from the person who I am going to visit or the office where I have an appointment. Mapquest doesn't know shortcuts! I didn't know they now offer gas prices. Will have to check it out.

The gas prices were wrong, the prices had gone down. Maybe they were yesterday's prices or maybe they update once a week. Yes, they don't always know the shortest root. I printed out an entire section of town I would be in. That was cool. If I missed the first turn-off, the second one wound back around and I still would be alright. That way I can bring the map section with me if I get lost and have to find my way back.
