powder or liquid detergent

I always buy liquid laundry detergent. I used power for many years but for the last fifteen or so it has been liquid.

I prefer liquid detergent to powdered. I remember a time when powdered was all you could buy. My grandmother used a bar soap and a washboard. Times change so quickly.

i always use liquid laundry detergent. i dont like powder, cause i usually end up spilling it everywhere, and clothes frequently come out of the washer with powder still on them in spots. if i for some horrible reason (lol) have to use powder i have to make sure the clothes go thru a double rinse so i dont end up with the soap marks. and yes ive tried using LESS powder to prevent the marks, but that didnt seem to make a difference.

i usually use powder detergent as it is more effiecient in removing dirt.
