What If someone said they no longer loved you?

I have had years of fake feelings towards me from someone I use to date, he never showed it or anything. One day he just looked me in the face and said he just didn't love me anymore and I think it was only because of his pride. I know he loved me, he was crying and saying he didn't, but there was no way. He always was nice to me and his parents loved me, but he needed a break to realize how much he loved me. I found out a few days later he was dating someone else and I told him it would come back on him. The girl he left me for cheated on him not once, but twice and he cried on the phone with me. I told him the first time not to go back to her she would just do it again, but he did anyway. I eventually fell in love with someone else I had been talking to after I found out he was with her and had been before he even broke up with me. He contacts me all the time telling me how much he still loves me and that he wants me back, but I can't help that I love someone else now. I am happy now and I don't have to worry about if he loves me or not, he seems pretty sure. I just hate when guys say they need a break, it's not a break they want its a different girl.
