positive thinking

I believe in positive thinking but have yet to see that it 'protects' the person who embodies it and lives by it. The saying misery loves company is true, but putting a positive on things is very helpful,but it still doesn't protect from the random and cruel acts of fate.

Yes I have always believed in positive thinking, I was always told not to put the negatives out there, and by saying the negative things is actually putting it out there, so only think postive and speak positve..

Nope, don't believe it at all. My life says positive thinking does absolutely no good. I think so positive that when it crashes in on me Ihave said "well, at least it didn't kill me". But am I any better off? No. Is there any way I can recoup? No. Did all my positive thinking help stop the diaster from happening? No. My theory is just do the best you can with what you go, hope for the best but plan for the worst.

Yes I do believe that good things come from positive thinking and bad things come from negative thinking. When you think in a certain way you act that way so if you think positively you are open to possibilities you whole outlook is one of potential. You are so bright and positive that you pick up situations and you send out good vibes which attracts good things to you. By the same token if you become bogged down in negative thinking then you see nothing but bad things around you and you close yourself off to the world. You tend to retreat into your own world which is filled with despair and you fail to see the good things that flow past you because your mind is on the wrong path.

I am a positive thinker. I try not to think negative thoughts. I also believe that negative things will come to you if you say and do mean things to another human being. I don't like to ge the evil spirits all stirred up.
