Parents must have undergone seminars or counseling on how to raise and nurture a good child before having child. We cannot deny the fact that most delinquent children have grown up uncared and unloved by their parents that's why whatever they been through during childhood have a great impact on their personality. As a good parent how do you discipline your child? How do you manage if one of them is hyperactive?

We "play" corners in my home. I think they need spankings every once in a while, but those are sure to get a person in huge trouble in the state I live in. If they do something extremely bad they get sent to their room.

I don't have children yet but in the future If God will give a child, I will raise them in a way of showing diplomacy, I'll discipline them without shouting or hitting because I believe doing that will send a message to them that it's ok to hit others. And it will also makes them avoid getting punished not by stopping their bad deed but by trying not to get caught.

My little guy gets time outs. Usually all I have to do is say "ONE!" and he is done being naughty. He's 2.5 and he HATES time outs. If he does something mean to someone else (usually one of the dogs) he has to spend time in his bedroom, but otherwise the time outs are done in whatever room we happen to be in.
