Hi all,
This is not common, but I had my wedding ceremony in a historical museum.
The reason we choose this place because this museum can hold a large number
of guest (1000 people) to enter and it have a wide parking area.
The museum it self has a distinct architecture, it's shape like a cone
and it's popular tourist attraction in my country. Have you witness or experienced
any unique wedding ceremony? Maybe because the place, the tradition or else?

Hi lusirafa. Your ceremony location sounds really beautiful and unique. I love weddings that are in interesting places. I really enjoyed an outdoor wedding that I went to. It was on an acre of farmland (where the bride had grown up). You could see for miles into the country - trees, hills, etc. It was so simple and peaceful. My wedding was supposed to be by a lake, but we had to move it indoors.

That sounds beautiful.
My son's dad and I married at midnight outside under the stars. He was working as a piano player at a fancy French restaurant, and was able to take a break at midnight, so that's when we had the wedding.
Our pastor came to the restaurant, and our close family. And everyone in the restaurant was invited outside to the wedding. Years later, I'd see people in the grocery store and they'd say, "I was at your wedding."
