i had mention on my last discussion about my son having work in another city ..i mean he was assigned there...and on his last visit to us he told us how he misses us(wow good to hear that)although he likes his job but its his first time to be living alone on a far from our home...i was alarmed thinking that he will quit immediately but he said after 6 months he express his desire to find another job near to us...well atleast i found out that he really care for us....

vanities hi I would caution your son not to be too quick to quit his job to move closer as jobs right now are not' that easy to get.If you have a good job you should hang onto it, and if he really wants to move he should find the other job before he quits the one he has. that way he is never without a job and funds. In todays economy he needs to be very careful.good luck and God bless.

Funny how a little distance makes the heart grow fonder! And he is making sense too by not quitting right away! Good for him...he must be growing up!

My son lives 80 miles away from here. I dont think he misses us because he seems to use any excuse not to come down. I wish he would say that he misses us, but he is living with his dad, so I guess he feels that he has enough parental involvement.

i guess so but usually its the son who is really not showy in what they feel towards their parents compared to daughter...although a few maybe an exemption..im just amazed that my son really misses us!!
