Do tragedies make u cry? Do u relate to the emotions running in the story? Or are u capable of remaining aloof even while reading tragedies? well Iam not. When I read MARIE ANTOINETTE by Victoria Holt, many novels written by Danielle steele, Man, Woman and child by Erich Segal I remember crying a lot. Is there any one novel or many that u can remember crying after finishing it... ?

Yes, most definitely. Even guys cry ( even if it innerly and not outerly a manly thing). i cry when I read a novel that has such hard pressing matters eitther already in my life or will be in my life. I cry when something expected happens because your imagination already got the evilest part of you out. When I read a book i like play the cenes in my head and so its like a movie I cry at. When I cry at these "movies" I feel like I am that person, like we have swapped bodies. I cried when I read any of Goodman Brown's books. I cry when I read any book that is a romance novel, never understood that I cry to romance novels and I am by far the most unrelated rmoance person in the world.

I always cry when the heroine is being maltreated. I'm not into tragedies because I hate a sad ending. I always look for the happily ever after type of books which is why I love Daniel Steele! Some romance novels are so full of emotion that I get teary eyed all the time. Romance novels are the best!

Not very much. I like reading very much and have read a lot of books. The only novels that made me cry were novels by Duma. I always cry reading them.

I have a very good imagination so when I am reading the book, I can't help picturing out the scene being told in the story. One book that made me cry from start to finish was "A Child Called It" by Dave Pelzer. I really pity Dave in the story and I can imagine the rest of the child being abuse all over the world. Luckily, I don't have to go through such ordeal. I tried reading the book and see if I won't cry anymore but I just can't help the building of emotions inside me. If you haven't read the book, I recommend it to you. It is really sad but courageous.

The first time I read Wizard and Glass (the fourth book in Stephen King's Dark Tower series) I teared up, it was the saddest story.

sometimes i guess, if the writer is good, then he has ways to make you cry even if you don't want to.
