Whose Body Double are You?!

Would the thought of an Actor/Actress/Singer's Body double occur to you,seeing a photoshoot,video or Movie? I saw a TV Programme yesterday,looking at the work of a Body Double..I never realised how widespread this practise was! We were introduced to Models,some held to have a "Perfect" physical characteristic..We saw a Hand Model,a Leg Model,a Body double,and a Guy who,physically and from certain angles could have passed for Daniel Craig,and does so on set with him! The body double girl was petite,blonde,and in excellent physical shape 
and had reportedly doubled for Kylie Minogue,among other petite pop stars, in some scenes of their video shoots..basically,the Star does closeups where they can be recognised,then in some shots or scenes where the star is unavailable,say other engagements,or limited time for the shoot,the double then gets some screen time inserted in post production..A Football (Soccer!) trick double shown featured in an ad during the last World Cup,doubling for some Brazilian players! there's one very unconvincing Double scene coming to mind for Me,at the end of "Die Hard 2" as "Bruce Willis" was being driven away from a plane as the credits rolled..it could have been a Dummy on the terminal buggy,never mind a Body Double!
So..Who could YOU Double for,or have been Mistaken for?
My Brother Maintained I resembled Phil Collins at one time,and said it felt weird at a gig seeing so many of his photo T-Shirts around him! I reckoned He resembled Bruce in Die Hard...

I have never been mistakedn for anybody although I would love it if I was as I would love to a job like that where I could earn lots and get to be on a movie set at the same time!! lol

I've had people come up to me and Say they know a Guy from wherever they live who looks just like Me! I've yet to have somebody ask for an Autograph,though...One of my scariest Moments was in a Club/Bar in Spain while there on holiday some years back,and A guy thought he recognised Me,suspecting I was a Cop He must have had some run in with in the past..It didn't get physical,but I thought after that it was definitely a good time to be somewhere else...

I once knew a girl who worked as a stand-in on movie and tv sets. Before filming starts, the lighting has to be set up properly for the shot. To set up the lighting, stand-ins are hired. Their job is to stand where the actor will be standing while the lighting crew adjusts their equipment properly. To be a stand-in you don't have to look exactly like the actor. You just have to be roughly the same size and have roughly the same skin tone. It's a pretty cool job. It's not difficult work at all, and you get to hang out on movie sets all the time!
